I left one out!!

My post below about Nathan not being the only kid in the family accidentally left Matt out because his picture didn't load. So here's a little Matthew update. Even though he is spending the day in his room today because he is "scared" to go to school, he really does love to go. I do not understand why he does this. I usually punish "school ditchers" by making them spend the day in bed, but Matthew LIKES to spend all day in bed, so I'm going to need new strategy for him.

Matthew is a super reader. His teacher encourages the kids to read with enthusiasm, so Matt really gets into some of his stories and it's pretty cute. He is very clever: he found this weird piece of wood in the forest and decided it made the perfect cup holder. Matthew has the cutest smile and I love to see the enthusiasm and sparkle in his eyes when he talks.

His new word is "seriously" and he uses it in just about every sentence he speaks. "I seriously want cocoa puffs for breakfast."

This picture of Matt and Nathan is probably one of my favorite pictures ever. I took it last week on a day I didn't work and they were just getting home from the bus stop. You'd think they really like each other! I wish!
