Katie was gone to Utah on her birthday- thanks Susie, Corey & Boston for making things so much fun for her!- and we missed her like crazy. So here are 11 things about Katie:
1. Life is all about FRIENDS. Katie loves to be social. A day without a friend over is just boring. She has a great group of friends that we are very thankful for. I also love Katie for her ability to make friends. She spent half of 3rd grade at the Alpine School and made some lasting friends there.
2. Katie is really good with Nathan, which isn't always an easy thing!
3. Katie seems to find great joy in getting Sam riled up.
4. Katie is good at reading and writing and science. She is very laid back about school.
5. Katie's bedroom is very pink with brown trim. And usually pretty darn messy.
6. She is girly and tomboyish at the same time.
7. I am trying to get her to stop spending all the money she earns on candy!
8. Katie is pretty stylish because she gets hand me downs from her very cool cousin Emery. She has wavy/curly hair that she is learning to straighten since Aunt Susie gave her a really cute haircut. She always tries to look nice, but is not overly concerned with her appearance. She is beautiful on the outside because she is beautiful inside!
9. Katie likes to be crafty and create things.
10. Katie is just a tad on the nosy side- she loves to be snoopy and listen in on adult conversations!!
11. Katie is very loving and thoughtful. At her baby blessing she was blessed with a heart full of love- and that is something she definitely has. Many times she has left me a sweet little note on my pillow just when I need it. Since we only have one girl, I'm so thankful she's as wonderful as Katie Elizabeth!!

Such a sweet post!
I always had a messy room too!! You couldn't even see the floor. Julia Britton came over one time and said "I didn't know you had blue carpet." because it was actually picked up for once!!! It is a sign of awesomeness!!!
I have one to add:
Katie is a GREAT helper and is very responsible! She did so many things to help me out, and I never once had to ask! Boston was her little shadow, and she was so helpful and patient with him!
I told her she needs to come stay with me during the summers...but we both came to the conclusion that her mom would miss her way too much! THANKS for spending your birthday with us Katie!! WE LOVE YOU!
I love your family! Your posts make me think that we should live by you. What great messes and trouble our kids would get into together!
