August 18 - 24

Monday: our 14th anniversary (R. is in CA), Sam and Katie's well checks (Sorry Sam, you are officially only 5'2 & 3/4"- one inch SHORTER than your mom & dad! Here is Katie, my normally brave & tough girl, who had to be physically restrained - we called it "hugging your mom"- for her tetanus and meningitis shots)

Tuesday: Nathan's first day of school. Nothing traumatic at all about this! Parent night for Matthew's class.

Wednesday: I'm sitting around at 9:30 in the morning, in my pajamas, no makeup, crazy hair, when the sub coordinator calls and says that Nathan's teacher need a sub ASAP. I love to sub there and Mrs. Whiting has been so good to my kids, so I was glad to put myself together and get there.

Thursday- worked special ed at the intermediate school. Presidency meeting- necessary because we've moved our Primary Program up a full month to Sept. 28. We are in panic mode, but know that it will turn out great.

Friday- special ed again, which I enjoyed much more that I thought I would. I got a little autistic boy to play a game with me where he got to steal my socks off my feet. He loved it, and it was fun to interact with him.

Saturday- Nathan's 2nd soccer game, which R makes it home for. Sam's trip to the Snowflake Temple. I'm glad he gets to go so often.
