Late Update for May 5-11

I have a million things to do, but since I'm not accomplishing much anyway I figured I would catch up on the blog. So here's the update for last week. The theme of the week is laundry. The picture above is what we affectionately call "Mount Bigelow" when it gets pretty high. Lots of laundry is the price you pay for traveling!

Monday 5/5: Spent most of the day at Valora's funeral and then helping my mom with the luncheon. Sam's scoliosis check (just a mild case we have to keep an eye on) Matt's tball game and practice for Katie. Can't remember FHE so I guess it wasn't very good! Good News: Rusty was offered a great job at the Springerville Ranger District. It is a good career move and we're pretty happy!

Tuesday 5/6: first irrigation turn in the morning- our half dead lawn was very thirsty! Katie's game at 5, watched idol, and Russ irrigated his dad's yard at night.

Wednesday 5/7: today I babysat four cute little kids (Nathan was in heaven!), changed two poopy diapers within half hour of each other (not something I've been missing!), went to a band parent meeting at 6, and Sam's Academic Triathlon awards at 7: he won a gold medal for his essay and a bronze for interview. Yea Sam!!

Thursday 5/8: had lots of fun subbing for the music teacher at the Primary school- not too often you get paid for playing hot potato and doing the hokey pokey all day :-) Katie's game at 5, Matt's practice at 5:30, DJ's music program at 7. Went to bed sometime.

Friday 5/9: subbed for music in the morning, Matt had a game at 5. So entertaining! Rusty and I have been trying to go on a date on Friday, so we ate at Java Blues

Saturday 5/10: went to lunch with my great Luna friends, went to town (meaning Alco) with my mom, attended a very sweet baptism for one of my Primary girls, prepared sharing time, cleaned the house, with Rusty's help finally got all the laundry done and put away, and spent lots of time wishing I had taught the kids to work hard when they were little!

Sunday 5/11: ward council at 6:30AM, church at 8:00AM, then my mom fed us dinner- and I felt bad because it was Mother's Day and I should've made dinner for her!
