I think I'll start a weekly update on here since I'm not so good with keeping a journal!
April 6-13:
- AIMS testing for SKD
- field trip to see Dr. Erharts "dead animals" for Nathan (and guilt for me because I was working and couldn't go- that was hard!)
- Matt not wanting to go to school because "he's learned enough and doesn't want to learn anymore"
- Sam's band trip to the valley
- Rusty's first fire of the season- he forget how much he lovesbreathing smoke and digging line straight up a mountain
- fast trip to ShowLow on Friday
- lockdown at RVPS & RVIS (I was "locked down" in Mr. Rhoton's office, SKDM were in class) and so glad that it turned out safely for everyone
- Nathan crying and clinging to me Tuesday morning when I left him at Jane's (stopping of course right when I left and telling Jane that candy would make him feel better- thank you, Jane for taking good care of him)
- scouts (me and 8 cub scouts- yikes!)
- finally getting throughthe giant pile of laundry on Sunday afternoon
Right now: we just finished Pioneer woman gravy and biscuits (love that website), Matt is having a huge meltdown, Nathan is running around in his spiderman suit, DJ is playing the piano, and I guess I better quit writing so I can clean the kitchen and get the kids to bed!
