Finally Four!

Ever since D.J.'s birthday on March 3, Nathan couldn't wait for his own birthday to come! He's already started the "is it my birthday yet?" for NEXT year! He had such a nice day: I stayed home from work and we went to storytime at the library. I took treats to his class, where they had given him a birthday crown to wear. As we were walking out of the school, people were telling him happy birthday and he said, "I like to wear this hat so everyone knows it's my birthday!" He had chocolate cake with chocolate frosting, which he largely ignored because he wanted to get to the presents.

We love our Nathan! So hard to believe that the "baby of the family" is four! He is growing up so fast. Too fast! Here are four things we love about Nathan:

1. He is generally a very happy little boy and makes friends so easily. He loves people.
2. Love his blond hair and dark brown eyes.
3. Ok, I'll admit it that I like that he still wants me to rock him to sleep at night and still gets in bed with us a few nights a week. He's so funny to talk to in the morning and will still play peek-a-boo with the covers or pretend he's a bear in a cave.
4. Nathan is silly- he tells "jokes" and makes funny faces and sings silly songs with the cutest little voice. He's so fun to have around when he is not being the most demanding child to ever live on the earth!!
