We had a pretty cruddy Easter!! I didn't do much to make it special this year for the kids. It comes so early this year and everything is still so brown and dead around here so I haven't been in the mood! We started this morning with no one wanting to get up for church, then Katie was upset that I hadn't bought her an Easter dress. I tried to explain that we live in a town where there are no Easter dresses to buy! We were lazy all afternoon and finally decided to hide the eggs around 5. Sam, in full-blown teenager mode, just stayed in bed. The rest of the kids spent the next 15 minutes fighting over the eggs and who found them first and me saying "never again!" Maybe we should have an Easter "redo" in April when everything starts to turn green and we're all in a better mood!
