August 23, 2007 was such a fun day! We planned to travel to the Valley to see our nephew Heath come home from his mission. It turned out that my brother Jay's wife Christy was in labor that day, so I was able to be at the hospital with her and see beautiful little River Keely come into the world at 7:55 p.m. (Rusty and the kids were at the airport to see Heath, who served a wonderful mission in the West Indies.) I was so glad I got to be there for River's birth. What a sacred, joyous occasion! Much better to watch than go through yourself!! Christy and Jay were so strong throughout the day, and we were so grateful to have River here safe and healthy!
